Mrs. Lula Smith Dies at Her Home at Oxford
Mrs. Lula Smith aged 52 died at her home at Oxford Saturday and was buried in the Oxford Cemetery Sunday afternoon, Eld. Roby Blue of Salem and Rev. Hugh Cooper of Oxford conducting the services. She leaves her husband, Dr. Henry Smith, a brother, Hubert Jett of Larkin; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Robins of Wideman, Mrs. Ollie Billingsley of Morrilton and Mrs. Ruby Hightower of Brockwell and her mother, Mrs. Cassie Jett, of Brockwell.

Mrs. J. H. Smith Dead
Mrs. Lula Jett Smith, 58, wife of Dr J. H. Smith of Oxford, died at 8:15 o’clock Saturday morning at her home. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Oxford with the Rev. Mr. Blue officiating. Interment was held at Oxford.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two step-children, Mrs. Thelma Bursey of Memphis, Tenn., and Miss Lavaughn Smith of Oxford; a brother H. G. Jett of Larkin; and three sisters, Mrs. Annie Robins of Wideman; Mrs. Ollie Billingsley of Morrilton; and Mrs. Ruby Hightower of Brockwell
