Dr. Smith of Oxford Passes Away Tuesday.

Dr. John H. Smith, aged 80 of Oxford, died in a hospital at Batesville Tuesday. Born at Lunenburg, he had lived in Arkansas all of his life. He had practiced medicine at Oxford more than 50 years. He was married to Miss Blanche King in 1899. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Bursey of Winona, Miss., and Miss La Vaun Smith of Oxford and a brother, Sam of La Crosse, Fla. Funeral was held at 2 p.m. yesterday at the Oxford Church of Christ
