Marie Smith of Mountain Home died Saturday (Nov 1) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. She was 77.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today at Kirby Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Shero and Robert Lawyer from College and North Street Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the Oxford Cemetery with John Ed Isbell, Jack Gregory, Murrell Dacus, LeRoy Jones, Wayne Camp and Stan Bridgeman serving as pallbearers.
Visitation was held Sunday at Kirby Funeral Home.
Miss Smith is survived by two brothers, Kirby F. Smith and Red N. Smith of Mountain Home; a step brother, Olaf W. Harkleroad of Hale Center, Texas; a sister Velma Walker of Mountain Home; a step-sister, Ima Jean Beyers of Little Rock; and several nieces and nephews.
Miss Smith was born March 30, 1909 at Oxford to the late Alice Ferguson and Wiley F. Smith. She was a retired secretary with a transportation company and member of the College and North Church of Christ.
