Seth Edward 'Ed' Parnell, 67, died Friday, July 3, 1925, at his home at Chastain, Arkansas.
He was born in December 1857, in Missouri to John Mark Parnell and Eliza Stewart Parnell. He had been a resident of northern Arkansas for over 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, the former Elizabeth 'Eliza' Simes; three sons, Henry Parnell, Abe Parnell, and Elmer Parnell; one daughter, Annie Stone. He was preceded in death by his parents and several sons.
Funeral services were conducted at the Galatia Church near Norfork on July 4, with burial in the Galatia Cemetery.
