Died June 24, 1979, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of Edgar Martin Parnell & Hettie Margaret Dickerson Parnell.
Married Mayme Lee Lane at Mountain Home, Arkansas. The inscription on the tombstone gives a marriage date of April 30, 1951 while the obituary for Frankie Merl Parnell indicates they were married in 1952, and genealogical information furnished by family members gives a marriage date of April 29, 1950.
