Died December 13, 1966, Norfork, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of Solomon & Elizabeth Robinson Parnell.
Married Maude Rosetta Hager, October 31, 1915, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Edward Franklin Parnell, 78, of Norfork, a retired farmer and lifetime resident of this area, died Tuesday at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2PM today (Thursday)at the Norfork Church of Christ with Bro. Bill Richardson, minister of Mt. Home Chruch of Christ, officiating. Interment will be in the Galatia Cemetery, east of Norfork, under the direction of the McClure Service.
Mr. Parnell was born at Sedalia, MO, on Nov 3, 1888, the son of Solomon Parnell and Elizabeth Robertson Parnell. He was married to the former Maude Hager, and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maude Parnell of Norfork; two sons, Vero of Mt. Home, and Joe Lynn of Independence, MO; two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Hughes and Mrs. Mable Finley, both of Mt. Home; 15 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; four brothers, Bryan, Ernest and Rudolph, all of Norfork, and Randolph Parnell of Mt. Home, and a sister, Mrs Pearl Southard of Mt. Home.
