Mrs. Maude Rosetta Parnell, 73, of Norfork, a lifetime resident of that community, died at a local hospital last Sunday.
She was a member of the Church of Christ and the widow of the late Edward Parnell.
Survivors include two sons, Vero of Salesville and Joe of Independence, MO; two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Hughes and Mrs. Mabel Finley, both of Salesville; a brother Henry Hager of Norfork; two sisters, Mrs. Albania Harvey of Norfork and Mrs. Eliza Star of Tayer, MO; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mrs Parnell was born at Norfork on Jan 13, 1895, the daughter of L.D. and Lou Ella Adams Hager. She was married to Edward Parnell on October 31, 1915.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Norfork Church of Christ with Bro. Iva Stone of Mt. Home officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, near Norfork, under the direction of the McClure Survice.
Pallbearers were R.L. Harvey, Norris Harvey, Dean Rouse, Devon Blanchard, Jack Hughes and Joe Bill Finley.
