Died October 31, 1963, Norfork, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of Solomon "Sol" & Elizabeth Robinson Parnell.
Married Sarah Charlotte "Lottie" Reed, October 17, 1914.
Charlie Marion Parnell was born near Hermitage, Missouri, near the Pomme de Terre River.

Funeral services of Charlie Marion Parnell, 71, a retired farmer of near Norfork were held at 2PM Saturday at the Galatia Methodist Church with Rev. John Evans of Norfork officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, under the direction of Roller-McClure Funeral Service.
Mr. Parnell died at his residence on October 31. He ws born in Saline County, MO, on December 27, 1891, the son of the late Sol Parnell and Elizabeth Robinson. He had spent the greater part of his life in Baxter County, and was a member of the Church of Christ. He served for many year on the county Democratic Central Committee.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lottie Reed Parnell of the home; two sons, Willie of Norfork and Richard of Gadsden, AL; two daughters, Elsie Mae Watley of Norfork and Grace Waire of Mt. Home; nine grandchildren; six brothers, Edward, Earl, Ernie, Bryan, Rudolph and Randolph Parnell, all of Norfork; and a sister Mrs. Pearl Southard of Mt. Home.
Pallbearers were Emmett Edmonds, Vero Hall, Isaac Thomas, Carl Sheid, Bill Hall and Fred Jehnke. Honorary pallbearers were Rex Bodenhamer, Jack Bonner, James H. Baker, Joe Matthews, Fay Nelson and Hugh Hackler.
