Funeral services for Will C. Davis, widely known Benton County farmer, orchardist, and business man, who died at this home a mile southwest of Rogers on Tuesday, June 23rd, were held at the home Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Will Ragsdale, pastor of the Rogers Church of Christ.
Pallbearers were Lester Glover and Carl Bagby of Cave Springs; Claude Davis, Basil Davis, Edgar Barnes and Bill Pitts of Rogers. Burial was in the Hart cemetery, south of Bentonville.
Mr. Davis was a member of the firm of Davis & Oakley, fruit evaporators of Rogers and Cave Springs for more than 20 years, retiring two years ago because of ill health.
