Earnest Davis
Earnest Clinton Davis, 83, of Siloam Springs, died Monday, Feb. 15, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born in Siloam Springs to Lester and Adah Cotton Davis. He was a truck driver for Allen Canning Company and a member of the United Pentecost, Springdale.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, J.D. Davis and a half-brother, Clarence Teague.
Survivors are his wife, Hester Davis of Siloam Springs; three daughters, Aileen Morgan of Colcord, Okla., Jeannene Church of Watts, Okla., Oneta Church of Siloam Springs; two sons, Eldon (Bud) Davis of Tulsa, Okla., Clinton Davis of Rogers; a sister, Alice Sparkes of Tulare, Calif.; two brothers, Vol Davis and Charley Davis, both of Tulare, Calif.; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 2 p.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Forrest Hassell officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, under direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
