DAVIS, J.W. - Rogers, Ark., Oct. 24.- J.W. Davis, one of the pioneer residents of Rogers, died at his home in this city last night of dropsy, aged 71 years. He moved to this place 30 years ago. He leaves a widow and two
sons, William, living at New Hope and Walter, at home with his mother. Funeral was held today from the home, conducted by Rev. J.H. O'Bryant, and burial was made in Mt. Hebron cemetery, seven miles southwest of Rogers.
