Willie I. Davis, of the Vaughn community died at the Gravette Medical Center Sunday morning after an extended illness.
He was born June 18, 1892 at Topeka, Kan. He had been a resident of the Vaughn area for the past 58 years. He was a retired painter. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He has no survivors.
The body will lie in state at the Callison McKinney Funeral Chapel in Bentonville until noon Tuesday. Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday in the Barron Cemetery with the Rev. Murray Ritchey officiating.
