Mrs. Harry Davis of the Falling Springs community west of Decatur, died in the Siloam Springs hospital Monday night following injuries from being struck and run over by a car on the streets of Decatur Saturday afternoon. The accident is said to have happened when Mrs. Davis was attempting to cross the street when a car, supposed to have been driven by Walter Moore, living east of Decatur, made a direct turn of his car at the junction of the two business streets. It is thought that Mrs. Davis became confused in crossing the street as she seemed to hesitate which way to go. People who witnessed the accident stated that both appeared to be trying to dodge each other. Immediately after the accident she was hurried to the Siloam Springs hospital where she never regained consciousness. Funeral services were held at the Congregational Church in Gentry yesterday afternoon with burial in the Falling Springs cemetery. Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Russell Davis, and a daughter, Mrs. David Whiteside, both of Decatur.
