Rex Davis, 74, of Clifty, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord July 6, 2020. He was born August 31, 1945 in Wharton Creek (Madison County), Arkansas, the son of the late Melvin and Sylvia Reynolds Davis. He had worked as an Installer of poultry house equipment for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his son, Rex Davis, Jr.; brothers, Raymond Reynolds and Charles Davis and sisters, Mary Etta Corter and Wanda Jean Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Davis, of Springdale, Arkansas; son, Bobby Davis of Clifty, Arkansas; daughters, Rexanna Obenshain (Steve) of Clifty, Arkansas, and Sandra Williams of Hindsville, Arkansas; sisters, Frankie Morgan of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Darlena Shaver of Springdale, Arkansas, Melva Loper (Jimmy) of Gravette, Arkansas; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Spring Creek Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Ronnie, River, Remington, Chad, Johnny Don and Steve. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie, Layton, Hunter, Weston, Sawyer and Jagger.
