BENTONVILLE — Larry Gene Jones Sr., 54, of Bentonville died March 5, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville. He was born Nov. 27, 1953, in Rogers, the son of Victor F. and Mabel Rice Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Otis Farmer.

He was a retired CAD operator and mechanical engineer for Benchmark Group. He was a Mason, an accomplished fisherman and Razorback fan, a devoted loving father, grandfather, friend and a loving and caring husband. He was a lifelong resident of Northwest Arkansas and was a Christian.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Jones, of the home, to whom he was married July 12, 1980; three sons, Willie Jones and wife Alicia and Junior Jones, all of Bentonville, and Jessie Jones of Wake Forest, N.C.; two sisters, Vicki Lindley and husband Gary of Springfield, Mo., and Judy Waldon of Lowell; one brother, Jerry Waldon of Rogers; his mother-in-law, Goldie Farmer of Bentonville; and stepmother, Louise Jones of Lowell; three grandchildren, Cory, Kameron and Charizie Jones.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. March 10, 2008, at Sisco Chapel in Springdale, www.siscofuneral.com. Pastor Sam Moore and honorary Pastor Gordon Garlington will officiate. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery, Cave Springs.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 9 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Willie Jones, Jessie Jones, Jeremy Farmer, Cory Farmer, Michael Lindley and George Reader.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Jones Jr., Joe Zulpo, Bill Zulpo, Chuck Calloway, Gary Lindley, Mike Rice, Don Farmer, Dale Farmer, Tom Bross, Chase Sharp and Brad Kinyon.

Memorials may be made to Phillips Cemetery, 478 Shores Ave., Cave Springs, 72718.

BENTONVILLE — Cheri Denise Farmer Jones, 56, of Bentonville died May 1, 2013, in Bentonville. She was born Oct. 29, 1956, in Harrison to William Otis and Goldie Irene Collins Farmer.

She was a United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict. Denise retired from Glad Manufacturing after 28 years and enjoyed fishing.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Farmer; husband Larry Jones Sr.; and son, William Jones.

She is survived by two sons, Jessie Jones and Michelle of Stuart, Fla., and Larry Jones Jr. of Bentonville; her mother, Goldie Farmer of Bentonville; two brothers, Dale Farmer and Brenda of Glasglow, Ky., and Don Farmer and Carol of Bentonville; sister, Delores Bross and Tom of Bentonville; three grandchildren, Cory Jones, Kameron Jones and Charizie Jones; also by her special caregivers, Nate Libey and Nick Peters.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2013, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with the Rev. Kelly Yarbrough officiating. Burial will follow at Phillips Cemetery in Cave Springs.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
