JONES, James Alexander - James Alexander Jones, father of Mrs. C.C. Phipps of Gravette, died at the home of his son, Charles R. Jones, at Siloam Springs at noon Tuesday following a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Jones was born in North Carolina December 23, 1848 and was 82 years, 5 months and 16 days old. Funeral services were held at Siloam Springs and burial was made in Oak Hill cemetery. He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. A.W. Twiggs of Greenville, Missouri and Mrs. C.C. Phipps of Gravette; four sons: D. Jones of Wichita, Kansas; J.L. Jones of Galena, Kansas; P.B. Jones of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Charles R. Jones of Siloam Springs.

JONES, Martha Ann - Mrs. Martha Ann Jones, widow of J.A. Jones of Siloam Springs, Ark. and who died Monday morning at two a.m. was buried Tuesday morning at ten o'clock from the First Baptist church in that city. Mrs. Jones had been sick for 15 months. She was the mother of Mrs. Wiley Twiggs, formerly of this city, and the grandmother of Mrs. Booze Glass of this city.
