Mrs. Lois Cornelia Smith, 81, of Strong died Tuesday afternoon at an El Dorado nursing home. Mrs. Smith was born in Union County Nov., 1885, the daughter of John and Sarah Harper McKinney. She was a lifelong resident of Strong and Union County and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Strong. Survivors include her husband, Egbert Wayne Smith, one son, John Charley Smith; one daughter, Mrs. Paul Jones; one brother, Jim McKinney, all of Strong; five grandsons and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Strong with Rev. S. M. Williamson officiating. Burial was in Strong Cemetery by Rumph Mortuary.
