Keith Cordell Smith, 34, of El Dorado, died Feb. 17, 2010, in Shreveport, La.

The son of Carl Smith and Lillie Kemp, he was born Jan. 19, 1976, in El Dorado. He was a construction worker and a member of Bouldware Temple Church of God in Christ in El Dorado.

He was preceded in death by his mother; maternal grandparents, Roy L. and Rosie Kemp; and his paternal grandmother, Hazel Smith.

Survivors include three sons, J'Quan Smith and Keith Smith Jr., both of Shreveport, and DaVereon D. Smith of Monroe, La.; his father and stepmother, Carl and Monette Smith of El Dorado; one brother, Carlaskio Smith of Conway; five sisters, Shonta Richmond of Atlanta, Ga., Shonda Ratliff and Shaytra Smith, both of El Dorado, Shonta Bean of Strong, and RoShunda Watson of Little Rock; and his grandfather, Cortez Smith of El Dorado.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado with the Rev. Felton Burgie officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in Lisbon under the direction of Sims Mortuary.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
