Wife of Marshall Smith
May 10, 1886 - February 21, 1965
Mrs. Lula Smith, 82, of Three Creeks, Ark., died in an El Dorado hospital Sunday morning. She was born in Union County in 1883, the daughter of Mrs. Margaret White and Joe Atkins. She united with New Bethel Baptist Church, El Dorado. Later she moved to Three Creeks and united with the El Bethel Baptist Church with which she remained until death. Survivors are her husband, Marshall Smith, Three Creeks; two step-daughters, Mrs. Susie Moore and Mrs. Sallie Mae Terrell, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; two step-sons, Eddy Smith, Losa Angeles, Calif, and Grover Smith, Three Creeks; one brother, Will White, Junction City, Ark. Funeral services will be held February 28 at 2:30 p.m. from ElBethel Baptist Church, Three Creeks, Rev. T. L. Green officiating. Burial will be in El Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Thomas Malone, Y. S. Thompson, Carl Ruffin, Thedore Meeks, John Pool and Willie Davis.
