Jamie Lynn Smith, age 29, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Sunday, February 5, 2012, at her residence. Jamie was born February 24, 1982, in El Dorado, Arkansas, and had lived in Texarkana for most of her life. She was a graduate of Arkansas High School and received her Bachelor of Nursing Degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and was employed at Wal Mart. Survivors include her parents, Randy and Beth Smith of Texarkana, Arkansas, one sister and brother-in-law, Jeri and Gabe Overstreet of Texarkana, Arkansas, her grandmothers, Hattie E. Smith and Ruth Crutcher of El Dorado, Arkansas, one niece, Preston Overstreet, one nephew, Caleb Overstreet, and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A. M. Friday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Jerry Crutcher officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P. M. Friday at Rest Haven Memorial Park, El Dorado, Arkansas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 PM until 8 PM Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Jamie Smith Memorial Fund, Mil-Way Federal Credit Union, 2000 Arkansas Blvd. Texarkana, AR 71854
