Eric Lynn Jones, 33, of Gentry died Thursday, April 28, 1994, near Burgin Valley. Born Jan. 29, 1961, at Siloam Springs, the son of Jerral and Patricia Douthit Jones, he was a truck driver for B&W Oil Co. in West Siloam Springs, Okla. Jones was a veteran of the Navy. He had been a lifetime resident of Gentry. He was a graduate of the Northwest Arkansas School of Cosmetology and was a former hair dresser. He was a member of the Gentry Masonic Lodge 222 F&AM.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Ellen Owens Jones of Gentry; a daughter, Tausha LeAnn Jones of the home; a stepdaughter, Sarah Vagunda of the home; his parents of Gentry; a brother, Edward Jones of Gentry; and a sister, Beth Massey of Gentry.

Service is at 3 p.m. Sunday at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Lonnie Nelson officiating. Burial is in Falling Springs Cemetery near Decatur.
