TULSA, Okla. — Edith Lorene Slinkard Martin, 83, died June 3, 2006. She was born Sept. 26, 1922, in Avoca to Curtis and Laura D. Mills Slinkard. She was a homemaker, a Methodist and a former resident of Rogers. She enjoyed writing letters and was the family historian. She enjoyed music and playing the harmonica.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter and a granddaughter.
Survivors include three children and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rogers Cemetery. Arrangements are by Moore's Eastlawn Chapel in Tulsa.
