Kenneth "Ken" Eugene Martin of Rogers passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007. He was born Oct. 27, 1914.

Ken was a gentle soul - full of love and kindness. He was a strong Christian believer. His kind words, soft humor, vast knowledge and love of life will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege to know him.

He lived a full life, born in Arkansas, he retired in California after 25 years in aviation. And then went on to raise a grandson. He returned to Arkansas at the age of 90 to spend his last few years near his daughters and grandkids.

He was a skilled craftsman able to do anything he set his mind to and nearly perfect. He loved to fish and hunt with his family right up to the end. He passed away at home in bed with loved ones by his side.

His treasured memories and legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of his loved ones.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, March 23 at Piney Point Baptist Church in Rogers.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Piney Point Baptist Church. Interment will follow in War Eagle Cemetery at Rogers. Arrangements are by Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers, online at stockdalefuneral.com.
