DR. ALBERT MARTIN

Springdale — Dr. Albert W. Martin, 81, of Springdale, died Thursday in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Sept. 27, 1891 in Pea Ridge, the son of William Henry and Betty Hannah Lee Martin, he was a Methodist minister.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Lloyd McKenzie Martin of the home one son, Dr. A.W. Martin Jr. of San Juan, Puerto Rico; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Jane Anderson of Blytheville and Mrs. Sue Emerson of Scotsdale, Ariz.; one brother, Luther of Pea Ridge; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Ricketts and Mrs. Winnie Nichols, both of Pea Ridge and six grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Pea Ridge cemetery under direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel.
