G. W. Martin, 68 years of age, died at his home on Route 2, Sunday morning after a long illness. He had been a resident of Arkansas for the past 43 years.
The funeral was held at the home Monday afternoon with Roy J. F. Bow of Siloam Springs officiating. Burial was in the Bloomfield cemetery.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Clara Martin; four children, Mrs. Edward Van of Kansas City, Kan.; Mrs. Harold Welton and Harry Marlin of Gentry and Mildred Merlin of the home; one brother, R.M. Martin of Longton, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Eliza LaFollette, Burlington, Kan., and one grandson.
