JACKSON, Joanna – The funeral services for Mrs. Dawson Jackson, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry McGaugh in the Morning Star community on Thursday morning, were held at the McGaugh home on Friday morning at 10 o’clock. The services were conducted by Rev. J.L. Evans of DeRidder, Louisiana, former pastor in Bentonville assisted by Rev. V.E. Chalfant, pastor of the community church in Vaughn. Burial was made in the Barron Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson is survived by five daughters, Mrs. E.L. Hale of Bentonville, Mrs. Marvin McGaugh and Mrs. Henry McGaugh of Morning Star, Mrs. E.E. Burns of Claremore, Oklahoma and Mrs. Clarence Torbitt of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and two sons, Lester Jackson of Rogers and Sid Jackson of Tulsa.
