MAYSVILLE, Ark. — Services for Gerald Kenneth Roberts, 45, Maysville, who died at 6 p.m. Tuesday at his home after a long illness, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Maysville Bible Church.
The Rev, William Smith and the Rev. Bill Query will officiate. Burial will be in Maysville Cemetery, under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
Mr. Roberts was born Feb, 9, 1939, at Gentry. He had lived most of his life in the Maysville community and was a farmer. He was a member of Maysville Bible Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Betty Hill Roberts; three sons, Randy Roberts, James Roberts and Travis Roberts, all of the home; two daughters, Cindy Jones, Summers, and Becky Roberts, of the home; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Hill, Maysville; two brothers, James Roberts, Monrovia, Md., and Wayne Roberts, Angels Camp, Calif.; and a granddaughter.

Betty Lou Rigden, 72, of Jay, Okla., died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at the Mercy Hospital in Rogers.
She was born June 20, 1940, in Maysville, to Albert and Pearl Hill. She married Mike Rigden on May 20, 1993, in Maysville. She also was member of the Maysville Bible Church and had worked 20-plus years for H&R Block as a tax preparer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her first husband of 26 years, Gerald Roberts.
Survivors Include: her husband, Mike Rigden of the Home; two daughters, Cindy Vetor of Gentry; Becky Roberts of Jay; three sons, Randy Roberts of Jay, James Roberts of Fayetteville, Travis Roberts and wife Shawna of Decatur; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Alberta Ray and husband Jim of Maysville.
Services will be held at the Maysville Bible Church in Maysville, on Thursday, Dec. 27, at 1 p.m., with Jim Whisenant and Raymond Scott officiating. Burial will be held at the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on the day of the service, Dec. 27, from 12 to 1 p.m. Arrangements are by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
