ROBERTS, Sarah J. - Mrs. Sarah J. Roberts, wife of the late B.F. Roberts, was laid to rest in the City Cemetery by the side of her husband last Sunday afternoon. The Rev. R.S. Hayden conducted the short exercises at the grave. Mrs. Roberts, whose home was in Lincoln, Nebr., was 79 years of age and would have reached her 80th birthday had she lived two months more. The Roberts family came here in 1916 from Hebron, Nebr. and settled on the former Hall farm east of town. Upon the death of Mr. Roberts soon after, Mrs. Roberts and daughter, Miss Florence, moved to Bentonville where they lived for nearly four years before going to Hebron and Lincoln, Nebr. where they have resided the past 11 years. Miss Roberts and her cousin, Mrs. T.O. Cherry of Lincoln, accompanied the remains here. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock in Lincoln Friday afternoon. Miss Roberts and Mrs. Cherry left Tuesday night for their home in Lincoln. While here Miss Roberts visited some of her old friends and made arrangements for placing a monument on her mother's grave.
