ROBERTS, Wm. - {from Hebron} Will Roberts died at his home at Hiwasse Thursday, the 24th, and the body was brought to the Hart cemetery and was buried near his parents. He was 45 years of age - we may say in the prime of life, but death has no regard for age and reaps both young and old alike. Mr. Roberts spent most of his life on a farm in this vicinity and had many friends here. He was married when 19 years of age to Miss Grace Gillmore who lived on a farm near his father's home. 6 children were added to this union and were all present at the funeral except Howard who lives at Trinidad, Colo. Mr. Roberts had been a member of the Baptist church for years. Rev. McMann of Hiwasse conducted a funeral service at the home and at the cemetery. Many friends were present at the funeral and beautiful flowers were banked on the grave. Those to mourn his departure from life are his companion, children, grandchildren, 2 brothers, Alfred and John Roberts, and 1 sister, Mrs. Joe Giddens.
