Funeral services for Harvey Nichols, 92, of the Morning Star Community were held May 15, at the Callison-McKinney Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Becker officiating. Burial was in the Barron Cemetery under the direction of the Callison-McKinney Funeral Home of Bentonville.
Mr. Nichols died May 12 in his home.
Born May 16, 1884, at Byhelia, Ms., he spent most of his life in Tulsa. He was the auditor and accountant for the Continental and Phillips Oil Companies for 35 years and co-owner and manager of the Twin City Theatre in Rogers for 18 years before retiring. He was a member of the Boston Avenue Methodist Church in Tulsa, a Scottish Rite Mason, he was a member of the Tulsa Consistory.
Survivors include his wife, Iva H. Nichols of the home; one son, Merrill Nichols, Oklahoma City, Ok.; one daughter, Logan Spann, Tulsa, Ok.; one sister, Lena Tullins, Oklahoma City, Ok.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
