ROGERS — Woodrow Hodger Nichols, 74, of Rogers, Ark., died Monday, July 29, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice - Legacy in Bentonville, Ark. He was born on Aug. 20, 1938, to Woodrow Dewitt Nichols and Margaret Campbell Nichols in Ward County, Texas.
He married Dorothy "Ellen" Nichols on Easter of 1980 in Bolivar, Mo. He was a truck driver for Walmart and retired in 2002. He attended the Church of Christ in Pea Ridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and his wife, Dorothy "Ellen" Nichols.
He is survived by one son, James Nichols of Bella Vista, Ark.; one daughter, Debbie Fisher and husband, Bob, of Goshen, Ark.; one brother, John Nichols and wife, Donna, of Pea Ridge, Ark.; two sisters, Jeanette Vanlaningham of Pea Ridge, Ark., Sarah Green and husband, Donnie, of Pea Ridge, Ark.; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd, Bella Vista, Ark.

ROGERS — Dorothy "Ellen" Nichols, 78, of Rogers, Ark., died Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at her home. She was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Caldwell, Wash., to Oscar Peterson and Agnes (Wright) Peterson.
Ellen lived here all of her life. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1952. She married Woodrow Nichols on Easter of 1980 in Bolivar, Mo. She helped with 4-H and EH Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Elizabeth Ellen Donell.
Survivors include her husband, Woodrow Nichols, of the home; three sons, Clark Belts of Gravette, Ark., Scott Belts and wife, Kelli, of Hiwasse, Ark., and James Nichols of Bella Vista. Ark.; two daughters, Shawn Bohall and husband, Keith, of Kremmling, Colo., and Debbie Fisher and husband, Bob, of Goshen, Ark.; one brother, Beatty Peterson of the state of Oregon; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd, Bella Vista, Ark. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on the day of the service. Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse, Ark.
