RUSSELLVILLE - Wanda Lee Phillips, 84, passed away on February 26, 2016, in Russellville. She was born on January 30, 1932, in Watts, Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband David and son, Randy. David Inman Phillips, 88, a long-time resident of Russellville and Clarksville and most recently of Branson, Missouri passed away November 3, 2019. David was born July 3, 1931 in Rogers to the late George Wiley Phillips and Jenny Mamie Ritchie Phillips. He was also preceded by his loving wife of more than 60 years, Wanda Phillips; a son, Tony Phillips and 2 brothers. Mr. Phillips proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his son, David R Phillips of Branson, MO; his sister, Donna Halstead of Owasso, OK; and 5 grandchildren of whom he was extremely proud. He loved keeping up with his grandkids’ achievements and was especially pleased in his final days to learn that his granddaughter, Hannah, had followed in grandson Dusty’s career path by becoming the newest pilot to the Phillips family. Mr. Phillips also left behind numerous extended family members and dear friends. His Graveside Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Ruddick Cemetery near Garfield.
