GRAVETTE — Kit Virgil Phillips, 79, of Gravette, Ark.,passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark. He was born Aug. 3, 1937, in Bentonville, Ark., to Rodgers and Nell Phillips.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and driving the countryside.
Preceded in death by his parents; one son, Rodgers Daniel Phillips; sister, Alice Jo Phillips and stepson, David Craig Jr.
Kit is survived by four daughters, Alice Bien of Gravette, Ark., Kimberly Phillips of Jay, Okla., Lisa Mohr of Seymour, Ind., LeeAnn Dodson of North Carolina; one son, Rodger Phillips of Gravette, Ark.; two sisters, Mary Griffin of Gravette, Ark., Peggy Berks of Gig Harbor, Wash.; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three nephews and two nieces.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14, with a visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery, south of Gravette on Hwy. 59. Arrangements are under the direction of Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
