Ada Elnora Walker, 79, of Gateway died Feb.
16, 1995, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers.
She was born Jan. 26, 1916, in Benton County to Ertie Cleveland Weston and Phebe Gertrude Scroggins Weston. She was a lifetime resident of this area. She was an assistant for Dr. Jim Pickens for 15 years, a member of the Benton County Fair Board for 20 years, mayor of Gateway for 25 years and a member of the Bayless Home Demonstration Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Walker in 1962; three brothers, George Weston, John Weston, and Burrel Weston.
Survivors are one brother, Floyd Weston of Darrington, Wash.; two sisters, Eunice Hamlin of Darrington, and Thelma Watson of Lavaca.
Funeral was Feb. 18 at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge with the Rev. Bob Scott. Burial was in the Rogers City Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.
