Bryon "Bus" Walker, age 70, resident of Gentry, Ark., died Thursday, October 26, in Siloam Springs. Mr. Walker was born February 3, 1908, at Gentry, the son of Alva and Virginia (Johnson) Walker. Mr. Walker, an electrician and farmer, had been a lifetime resident of the area.
He was a member of the Methodist Church. His wife LaRue preceded him in death. He is survived by: three sons, Joe of Pittsburg, Tex., Lee of Denver, Colo., and Jim of Springdale, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Opal Smith of Siloam Springs, Mrs. Erma Whiteside of Tulsa, Okla., and Miss Ida Marie Walker of Tulsa; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, October 30, at Wasson Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lee Killion officiating.
Burial was in Gentry Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home.
