BELLA VISTA — Carlotta "Lottie" Marie Johnson, 72, of Bella Vista died Dec. 10, 2000, at Bates Medical Center in Bentonville. She was born Nov 22, 1928, in St. Louis, Mo., to Walter and Marie Spernol Rose.

She and her husband moved to Bella Vista 15 years ago from Janesville, Wis. She was a watercolor artist and a member of the Village Art Club and Bates Medical Center's Art Council. She was in charge of the Village Art Club scholarship program for 10 years.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Johnson of Bella Vista, to whom she was married June 9, 1951; one son and daughter-in-law, Steve Johnson and Anita of State College, Pa.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Nancy LeBreche and Mike of Madison, Wis., and Kathy Johnson of Janesville; four grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bella Vista Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Laura Fleetwood officiating. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 W. Mountain St., Fayetteville, or the Arthritis Foundation, 6213 Lee Ave., Little Rock, 72205.
