JOHNSON, Clarence - Clarence, the 13-year-old son of G.C. Johnson, died Sunday afternoon at three o'clock at his home three miles southeast of Rogers. Clarence had been sick only five days. Tuesday morning he drove to town to the East side school where he had been attending but had to go home in an hour or so. For a day or two he seemed to be getting along all right and then commenced to fail. Funeral services were held here Monday afternoon at three o'clock at the Christian church and were conducted by Elder Dillon. Clarence was a bright, industrious young fellow and his untimely death has brought great sorrow to the family and to his many friends and associates. The deceased was a brother of Ed Johnson, local manager of the telephone system and had lived in Rogers quite a number of years.
