Jess Wilson, 64, of 105 Bertha St., died this morning in a Booneville hospital. He retired as line foreman from the Southwestern Electric Co. after 35 years of service and moved to Fayetteville in 1945 from Rogers. He was born Mar. 17, 1901 at Centerton, the son of James and Ethel Wilson.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Blanche Bowen Wilson; three sons, Nicky of the home, Pat of Springdale and Bob of La Puente, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Baucom, Mrs. Ann Fletcher, Mrs. Linda Lehman and Mrs. Jessie Baucom, all of Fayetteville; 16 grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren; two stepsons, J. R. Bowen of Fayetteville and Jack Bowen of Mount Vernon, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Mamye Tallent of Elroy, Ariz., and Mrs. Fannie Cawthorn of Rogers and a step-brother, Lemuel Johnson of Siloam Springs.
Funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Nelson's Funeral Home with burial in Rogers Cemetery.
