LITTLE MARIETTA WILSON DIED HERE YESTERDAY

Funeral services are being held at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon at the Callison Funeral Home at Rogers for little Marietta Wilson of Bentonville, aged two years and nine months, who died unexpectedly shortly after 2:00 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Wednesday, April 1st, following a few days’ illness.

Marietta was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilson and died at the apartment of her mother at the home of Miss Nell Naill on B Street, N.E. Her mother is the former Miss Lois Gambill of Bentonville.

Marietta’s father came to Bentonville from Fort Smith immediately following her death, as did her aunt, Miss Leta Gambill, who is a teacher in the Fort Smith schools. Her illness of a few days became critical a few hours before the end.

The funeral services are being conducted by the Rev. J. Abner Sage, pastor of the Bentonville Methodist Episcopal Church, South, with interment in the Barron cemetery, southwest of Bentonville. The Callison-McKinney Funeral Services of Bentonville is in charge of arrangements.

Marietta was a favorite among the neighbors and with all who knew her.
