WILSON, James Richard - James Richard Wilson was born near Garfield, Ark. Dec. 5, 1892, departed this life Sept. 18, 1916, aged 23 years, 9 months, 13 days. Was married March 2, 1913 to Miss Belle Ruddick and to this union were born two daughters. Jim was the son of A.B. Wilson and in the past three years the father, mother, two sons and one daughter have died, leaving only one son and two daughters living. For a number of years Jim was a rural carrier out of Garfield and was well known. Last March when the shadow that was hanging over the home became a certainty, that he was a victim of that dread disease, tuberculosis, he gave up his work in search of health but to no avail for he gradually grew worse until death came. It can be truthfully said of Jim Wilson that he was a good, honest, truthful, upright boy and it is sad, indeed, that he should be taken in his young manhood away from his wife and little babies. Besides his young wife and two little daughters he leaves one brother, Henry, and two sisters, Mrs. O11ie Skelton and little Ruth. Interment at the Ruddick cemetery and funeral services conducted by Rev. J.S. Herod.
