PEA RIDGE — Pearl Loretta Patterson, 98, of Pea Ridge died April 2, 2008, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale. She was born Oct. 4, 1909, in Jacket, Mo., to Napoleon Burnett and Effie Montez Laughlin Burnett.
She enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge, where she played piano and was a Sunday school teacher for 40 years. She was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday school class and was a substitute teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Patterson, in 1987, one daughter, Carolyn Joyce Patterson, one granddaughter, Sharon Banks, four grandsons, Wallace Banks, Ronald Banks, Jimmy Jennings, Ronald Bradford.
Survivors include five daughters, Aline Banks of Pea Ridge, Wylene Bradford of Whittier, Calif., Pauline Bellm and husband Richard and Janice Jones and husband Bill, all of Belton, Mo., Sandra Stogdill and husband Bill of Pea Ridge; one son, Jack Patterson and wife Lucy of Pea Ridge; 20 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 47 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge with Al Fowler and Marvin Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Buttram Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
