Hugh William Patterson, 76, of Concordia at Bella Vista died Wednesday evening at Bates Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 28, 1899, at Wellsville, Ohio. He was an engineer for the Penn-Central Railroad, retiring in 1964. He moved to Bella Vista in May, 1974.
He is a member of the Elks Lodge and the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife Clearice of the home; two sons, Jim Patterson of East Liverpool, Ohio and Ralph W. Jackman of Texas; a daughter, Mrs, Ann Bryan of Midwest City, Okla.; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services were at 1 p.m. today at the Callison-McKinney Funeral Chapel at Bentonville with the Rev. Allen Hunter officiating. Burial will be in the Bentonville Mausoleum.
