Hamilton Patterson, 67, of Bentonville died Saturday at Bates Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 7, 1911 in Berry County, Mo.
He was a retired carpenter add a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Opal, of the home; one son, Leonard Patterson of Jacket, Mo.; three daughters, Lula Mae Yousey and Laura Kay Coine, both of Bentonville, and Mae Etta Hickman of Pea Ridge; one brother, Cecil Patterson of Jacket, Mo.; two sisters, Iva Morgan of Mountain, Mo. and Blanche VanZandt of Jacket, Mo.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Callison-McKinney Funeral Home Chapel in Bentonville. Burial will follow in Buttram Cemetery near Pea Ridge under the direction of Callison-McKinney.

BENTONVILLE — Opal Patterson, 92, died Dec. 7, 2010, at Mercy Medical Hospital. She was born Nov. 24, 1918, to John and Flo (Morgan) Arnold in Benton County, Ark.
She was a long time resident of Bentonville, Ark., where she retired from the poultry plant. She worked 20 years for the Rose Child Care Center, where she was loved by all. Her heart and her home were always open. She was an active namber of Corner Stone Baptist Church. Her hobbies included her flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hamilton Patterson; one daughter, Lula Mae Palmer; two granddaughters, Kristy Bakema and Tanisha Brenner; one sister; and five brothers.
She is survived by one son, Leonard Patterson and wife, Ivy, of Pea Ridge; two daughters, Kay Cline of Bentonville and Mae Etta Hickman of Pea Ridge; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, J.C. Arnold and wife, Neva, of Washburn, Clyde Arnold and wife, Teresa, of Pea Ridge; two sisters-in-law, Eula Faye Arnold and Pauline Arnold.
Visitation was 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Central St., Bentonville, Ark.
The funeral will be at the Corner Stone Baptist Church, Dec. 10, 2010, at 1 p.m. located at the corner of I Street and Airport Blvd. (Arkansas 12 W), Bentonville. Ark.
Burial will be at Buttram's Chapel Cemetery off Lee Town Road, Pea Ridge, Ark.
Arrangements are by Callison- Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.
