CLARK, Wilmot - Wilmot Clark, age 80 years, died at the family home in Bentonville Wednesday evening at 7:30 following a stroke of paralysis Sunday. He had been an invalid for some time. Funeral services will be held from the Presbyterian church Friday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock, the pastor, Rev. A.W. Henderson, officiating. Mr. Clark was born in Mesopotamia, Ohio January 28, 1850. In 1884 he moved to Fairbury, Ill. where he met Miss Maggie Davis. They were married in Sherman, Tex. in 1888. Later they moved to Lehigh, Okla. and then to Jenny Lind, Ark. where Mr. Clark operated coal mines. He was crippled in a mine accident while at Jenny Lind. Mr. and Mrs. Clark moved to Bentonville in 1920 which has since been their home. Besides his widow, Mrs. Maggie Clark, he is survived by an adopted son, Thomas Clark of Bentonville; also by three brothers, J. Wells Clark, an invalid, and Sumner Clark, both ofJenny Lind, and Emerson Clark of Topeka, Kans.
