BELLA VISTA — William "Bill" Clark, 82, of Bella Vista died Nov. 17, 1999, at Bates Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born April 14, 1917, in Dallas, Texas, to Harry M. and Clora M. Nobes Clark. He moved to Bella Vista In 1985 from Des Moines, Iowa.

He was a member of the Bella Vista Community Church, the Bella Vista Men's Chorus, Crime Watch, the Rotary Club and was president of the Courtesy Transportation Service.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Marie Clark of Bella Vista, to whom he was married 59 years; one son, William "Stanford" Hathaway Clark of Longmont, Colo.; two daughters, Sheryl M. Clark Schizas of Las Vegas, Nev., and Dr. Janice E. Clark of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one brother, H. Lee Clark of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Frances Terry of Eugene, Ore.; two grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bella Vista Community Church with the Rev. David McKay officiating. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bella Vista Community Church Memorial Music Fund, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista. 72714, or Bella Vista Men's Chorus, c/o the funeral home.
