Martha Alden Sanders wife of William Henry Sanders. daughter of Michael Jacob Hively and Amanda E (Wayland) Hively. Martha was born in Crossroads, Izard County, Arkansas and died in Calico Rock, Izard County, Arkansas.

Service Held For Martha Sanders
Mrs. Martha Alden Sanders passed away June 16, 1964 in the Calico Rock Medical Center at the age of 94 years. She was born February 23, 1870 and lived most of her life in Izard County.
She was united in marriage to William Henry Sanders in 1885, to this union eight children were born, four of these and her husband preceded her in death.
She professed faith in Christ at an early age, and joined the Baptist Church and lived a devoted life.
For some time she had made her home with a daughter Nada Skidmore.
She leaves to mourn her passing one son, Ray Sanders of Dolph; three daughters, Nada Skidmore, Dolph; Phoebe Faught, Overland Park, Kan.; Molly Albert, Amarillo, Tex.; three sisters, Made Wayland, Calico Rock; Monday Sanders, Viola; Polly Burton, Dolph; 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held June 18, 1964 at the Wayland Arbor Church with Remmel Rowden and Joe Skaggs officiating. Burial was in the Wayland Arbor Cemetery with McCallum Funeral Home of Calico Rock in charge.
