Gary Lee Sanders of Dolph, Arkansas
Gary Lee Sanders, son of Lula Mae Green Sanders and the late Melvin Columbus Sanders, was born February 17, 1959 in Frankfort, Kansas. He departed this life November 11, 2012 at his home in Dolph, Arkansas at the age of 53 years, 8 months and 25 days. He spent his life as a son, brother, grandson, father and friend. During his working years, he made his living by landscaping, working at the boat dock and the Iron Works factory.
He is survived by one son: Christopher Gary Sanders of Dolph; his mother: Lula Mae Sanders of Dolph; one sister and brother-in-law: Janice and Jimmy Freeman of Dolph; a special friend: Renee McCollum of the home; several aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Melvin Columbus Sanders; paternal grandparents: Christopher Columbus “CC” and Iva Sanders and maternal grandparents: James and Versie Green.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Dave Williamson officiating. Burial will be at Wises Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 13 from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m.
Pallbearers: Rocky Dockins, Dave Williams, Andy Sanders, Keith Stone, Randy Summers and Tommy Rand.
Honorary Pallbearer: Jerry Klaus.
