John Henry Sanders son of Robert Sanders and Mary "Polly" (Haney) Sanders. Nancy Ann (Langston) Sanders daughter of William Hiram Langston and Ann Langston. John Henry Sanders was born and died in Dolph, Izard County, Arkansas.

Mrs. Nancy A. Sanders of Dolph Dies September 2

Mrs. Nancy Ann Sanders, life-long resident of Izard County, died at her home at Dolph, Friday, September 2, 1949 at the age of 77 years. All her life was spent in the vicinity of Dolph. She united with the church at Wayland Arbor early in life and remained a devout Christian throughout her life time.

She was married to John H. Sanders 1888, her husband preceding her in death by several years.

Surviving, are seven sons, Noah, Arthur, Columbus, Roy, Ernest, Homer and Tim Sanders, all of Dolph; one daughter, Mrs. Ada Griggs, of St. Louis, Mo.; 58 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; one brother, W. J. Langston and step-daughter, Mrs. Annie Hively of Calico Rock.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon. Burial was in Wayland Arbor Cemetery, with Roller Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
