Obituary
Allie L. Beavers Smith, 86, of Wichita, KS, formerly of Mt. Home, died thrusday (Sep 23, 1993) at Wichita.
Services will be at 2PM Sunday at Roller Funeral Home. Visitation is from 2 to 9PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8PM. Burial will be at Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ernest Conley, Rick Jabara, Travis Jabara, Shawn Conley, Brandon Smith and Grady Beavers.
Mrs. Smith was born Feb 26, 1907, at Burford. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She married Roy Smith May 8, 1928, at Mt. Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Robert and Mary Evely Cunningham Beavers; seven brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin and Phyllis Smith of Port Charlotte, FL, Jerry and Dianne Smith of Wichita, KS; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Imojene Kenney of Port Charlotte, FL, Judy and Earnest Conley of Wichita, KS, and Betty and Rick Jabara of Lenexia, KS; two sisters, Mary Durbin of Hanford, CA, and Velma Dilday of Anderson, MO; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and seversl nieces and nephews.

Roy Melvin Smith, 70, of Isabella, MO, a former resident of Baxter County, died Thursday at Baxter General Hospital.
Services were conducted Saturday at Roller Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Howard officiating. Interment was in the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery, at Lone Rock, with the Roller Funeral Home directing arrangements. Pallbearers were Claude White, Claude Beavers, Buddy Duggins, Russell Rasor, Louie McCullough and Hershel Acklin.
Born Feb 12, 1903, at Joplin, MO, Mr. Smith was the son of the late John and Myrtle Pruitt Smith. He was married to Allie Beavers on May 18, 1928.
Survivors include his wife, of Isabella; two sons, Melvin and Jerry Smith, both of Wichita, KS; three daughters, Mrs. Jean Kenny of Claymont, DE and Mrs. Judy Conley and Mrs. Betty Jabara, both of Wichita; and eight grandchildren.
