Died Whiteville, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of Blant Ward Smith & Jessie Mooney Smith.
Husband of Anna J. Souther Price Smith.
After retiring from the Army, he had a second career as a rural mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service at Gassville, Arkansas, from 1980--1992. He served 12 years on the Cotter, Arkansas, School Board of Education.
